Welcome
to my R/C website. I've
been flying gliders since about 1990, powered planes since about 1991
and helicopters since early 2000. Gliders I learned by throwing
one off a hill and trying to survive. Power planes I learned by
gaining experience with the gliders, then buying a kit, spending weeks
building it and minutes destroying it. Eventually I managed to
keep one in the air long enough to gain the experience.
Unfortunately I didn't have a simulator like is so popular today and I
didn't even have a buddy box for someone to save me from my mistakes.
Helicopters, on the other hand, I learned to fly on the CSM simulator.
I flew that simulator for over a year before buying my heli, assembling and flying
it. When the day arrived to fly, I had tons of sim experience
and I hovered nose-in on my 2nd tank of fuel.
